"Guide my Sleigh"

Part Two of the Christmas story...

The story continues...

So then the elves decided to use a rocket ship

that would deliver all the presents

However, they had no landing strip

so the return would lead to bad events

“Let’s use the big truck”, yelled one of the elves

so they packed it up for the night

Every stocking on the shelves

and every wrapped up gift in sight.

Just then the sick reindeer regurgitated Santa Claus

who seemed no worse for the wear

And was welcomed back with a round of applause

even though he smelled like a stinky old bear

So this night, Santa got back in his sleigh

with the presents packed in his bag

Santa was off to places far away

but at the first house he got stuck in the chimney and that was a drag.

And a Merry Christmas to all!

Christmas Story in two parts. This is part one.

I came down sick last night for Christmas so I decided, while resting to put together a quick little story for the season using some repurposed art I had done some years ago and cobbled together this silly little story.

This is part one:

On a night sometime before christmas

up at the north pole

Most were in their pajamas

Except that snowman troll

One reindeer was crazed by drinking too much eggnog

and was roaming the north half baked

He came upon Santa and thought he was a hog

The reindeer then swallowed him whole as his belly ached

The elves were puzzled because Santa was missing

A replacement was needed right a way.

Maybe the robot Santa was convincing

as they sadly but busily loaded up the sleigh

But then the abominable snow monster struck

and ate all of it up

The sleigh, the presents but not the big truck

but then stopped like some sort of Schlup

To be continued...

A new Doodle for the Holidays.

Having stopped by some stores in the last few days... this is some of what I've encountered in terms of attitude from the people. A new Doodle: "Days before Christmas"

Short break.

A little known drawing from a while ago.

I'm taking a little break from the blog and a few other things to concentrate on what's happening on the home front. I'll be back soon to show new art and share some experiences.

I hope to post before Christmas to I'll keep my greetings till then.

Peace.

New holiday Doodle for November 2012

I had the urge to do this doodle when I started seeing Xmas decorations the day after Halloween.

So I'm posting it early for the holidays. Hope you can dig it.

Festivus Pole Lot

On Christmas Eve I went through Fremont, which is north of Seattle a little bit and there was a Festivus Pole Lot with two poles left. I guess they sold all the others...

15 minute sketch challenge "A rest before Xmas"

Continuing this month's theme of Christmas... I was thinking that Santa might need a little rest before his big night next weekend.
Hope you dig Santa's rest before Christmas.

Today's 15 minute sketch challenge "Virtual Christmas"

Today's result from the 15 minute sketch challenge is about all the tech stuff that allows us to experience things differently then ever before, including Christmas. I hope to be blissed out on some Thai food, Greek cookies and some excellent dark chocolate gelato!
