This was a demo piece that I did in a video for SCBWI - WA a week ago that showed how I did the art for Super Alphabet... now I'm thinking that a sequel is a doable.

15 minute sketch challenge..."Very Anxious, if you know what I mean?"

Things got a little busy over the weekend so I took a personal day from work today to finish up on a bunch of things,... errands, shopping, finishing up the video I'm working on, planting all my new vegetable plants and finally getting to the 15 minute sketch challenge... which is called "Very Anxious, if you know what I mean?" Hope you dig it. -MC

New Doodle for this week..."Drago the Hun"

Another new doodle from this past week. I've almost got enough for Volume two of "The Book of Doodles"... I'll wait till later this year and start picking the images for the book. -MC

15 minute sketch challenge "Sunshine Dragon"

The pacific northwest has had some sun lately, even though it's still a bit on the cool side, could summer be close at hand? Maybe.
I took a long bicycle ride this afternoon and drew this image when I got back. It's called: "Sunshine Dragon"

15 minute sketch challenge "And the winner is?"

Today's sketch went a bit over time. The subject matter was the Oscars filtered through my weird prism. Hope you dig it!

Snow wrapped in Ice Night!

It's been several days of snow this week that shut down the area. Today we got more snow with freezing rain that coated all the snow in ice. My Townhouse looks like "The Shining" on the outside!

New 15 minute Sketch..."Twit Hair"

Late posting this from the weekend. It was a bit busy even though I was a bit stranded by the snow...
Notice the Twitter Bird in her hair?

First 15 minute sketch challenge for 2012...

Here's the result of the first "15 minute sketch challenge" for 2012 and I went a bit over time because of talking on the phone with a relative about something very important but was happy to realize what I had drawn when I finished. Hope you like it too!

May your 2012 be a good one!

New Doodle..."Drop down, turn around..."

It's so insular being in the the Christmas mode, then on the day after, thrust into the everyday world again. Thankfully we have another holiday coming up later this week...
