NEW Abstracts

A little bit of color inbetween Xmas and New Years. I slowed down with creating Abstracts for the season. That may pick up after the first of the year but I'm concentrating on some surreal paintings and buckling down on some sketches for my graphic novel. Xmas parties all over the place...

This is Santa at an Xmas party. I've been to a couple already and have a few more to attend. I missed a big one last night but for good reason. I went to see an artist whose work I admire a great deal. Femke Heimstra. She had a gallery opening last night at the Roq la Rue in the Bell town area of Seattle. Crowded but fun! Plenty more Xmas parties to come!

NEW December Abstracts!

Before I post more Xmas images I have to post some of the NEW abstracts for this month. I've been slowing down lately on the Abstracts to concentrate on other things that need to be done right now so these might be the last for a while. Enjoy!

Time for some NEW December Abstracts!

3 out of the 5 that I have done so far for this New month. It's going to get busy so more than likely there will be less new stuff that I'll post than older Xmasy type of art for the next month,... but stay tuned to see some Xmas images that I've not posted before now.

New Surreal sketches...

These new sketches where from my trip to Michigan for Thanksgiving with the family! Great time, great food! Love to all my family for the fun time! This sketchbook is not part of my graphic novel, which I will get back to working on this week. My next post will be the latest Abstracts from the last couple of weeks. Hope everyone had a nice holiday! Two more to go!

Back from Dee-troit!!

I came back from Detroit last night after a very long flight. We sat on the tarmac in Detroit for over an hour while they burned off fuel. There were 8 babies on board the small-ish plane and two of them were twins that sat kiddy corner from me. Those two were tiny terrorists!! Those two year olds were constantly kicking as hard as they could to get out of their parents arms and run around bumping into seats and people as hard as they could. They also screamed as loud as they could constantly for 6 hours! It was brutal! I picked up some Thai food on the way home and then fell asleep on the couch. This morning I awoke to sunshine and took these pix outside the master bedroom on the top floor of my house. A beautiful view indeed! It was a fun trip and was great to see everyone but it's also good to be home.
