 For Creepy October Monday...

This background was originally concepted as a group sketch on a whiteboard—a rough idea for a trivia and word-finding game set in a creepy, underground library chamber. I took that initial brainstorm and developed a tighter composition, refining the layout and atmosphere to support gameplay and narrative.

Using Photoshop, I painted the final color art with a focus on mood and detail: warm lighting against cold stone, arched windows with a central round table scattered with clues. The exposed pipes, candelabras, and raised lectern hint at forgotten rituals and hidden knowledge. Every element was placed to invite exploration and make players feel like they’ve stepped into a place where words have power.

Tiki Cave with fire!

 For the holiday season...

Revisiting an older concept piece that still resonates. I originally sketched it years ago using red Polychromos pencil to capture the energy and rhythm of a fiery, ritualistic underworld. The skeletal structures, glowing platforms, and looming architectural face were designed to evoke surveillance and judgment. After locking in the composition, I refined it digitally to push the lighting, texture, and mood. Even now, it feels like a moment frozen in a larger, surreal narrative.
