15 minute sketch challenge..."Very Anxious, if you know what I mean?"
Things got a little busy over the weekend so I took a personal day from work today to finish up on a bunch of things,... errands, shopping, finishing up the video I'm working on, planting all my new vegetable plants and finally getting to the 15 minute sketch challenge... which is called "Very Anxious, if you know what I mean?"
Hope you dig it.

Today's 15 minute sketch challenge.. "Summer-like"
Santa Monica Pier, from my recent L.A. trip.
Even though it was a quick 48 hours, I had a blast in Los Angeles for the SILA Illustration West 50 art show. I took a break for a few hours for myself and headed over to Apple Pan for a hickory burger and then quickly down to Santa Monica to look through my favorite book store in that part of the world "Hennessy and Ingals" art and architecture books. Many I hadn't seen in person. Then I drove a short distance to the Santa Monica pier. What fun that was. I had not been there in such a long time. Anyway, here are some pix from that part of the trip. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The latest in Doodling...for April 2012 Part one of three
Ok, here's more doodling from meetings I've been having lately. You might think that these reveal something about the meetings I've been attending but would not be true. They are about as far from the topics in the meetings as can be. It's all about helping me stay awake and my attention focused.
Enjoy.

SILA Illustration West 50 Art Show last Friday!
Here are pictures from the art show at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, which for those of you not acquainted with southern California... is very near Los Angeles. It was a blast with great friends and it all went way to quickly.
I picked up my Silver award for my "Super Alphabet" illustration and got to see my other illustration "Kit Tee Kat" on the wall.
Much fun was had!

15 minute sketch challenge "New Shoes"
Hey... here's a tip, when going on a trip... DON'T TAKE NEW SHOES!!!
I took, not one, but two new pairs of shoes on my trip to Los Angeles this week. I did a lot of walking and now my left foot is swollen and hurts really bad. I've got ice on the top and bottom of my foot. Taking it easy today but it's rough when I want to get things done.
Where is my butler?
