SPRING IS HERE!

For this weekend's Saturday Morning Doodle... Spring feels like a time of endless possibilities. It’s when everything seems to awaken and the world bursts into color. The air carries a sense of renewal, and there’s this energy that almost dares you to create something new.

The tall, friendly robot represents the bridge between the mechanical and the organic, a reflection of my own fascination with combining structure and spontaneity. Surrounding it with lush greenery was my way of expressing the vibrancy and life that Spring brings. it’s a season where growth feels unstoppable, like every corner of the world is collaborating in this grand symphony of renewal.
This doodle feels like a reflection of how I see the season—a reminder to embrace growth, harmony, and the beauty of new beginnings.

Saturday morning Doodle

Today's Saturday morning Doodle... it started out as a caricature of David Bowie but went awry. 😁

NOT Halloween already!!!

This is from last October's INKTOBER drawing month. It's one of the last few. I did a couple of extra drawings that month and they are all included in my INKTOBER book that is available on Amazon and other book sellers. Get your copy before INTOBER gets here... and I'm taking this year off from that but will be back at it in 2020, because that's going to be an intense year.

New Doodles from this last week.

Two new ink drawings done in some meetings at work. I always bring my sketchbook with me to draw so that I don't fall asleep while listening to people. Not to say they are boring but sitting still is not my thing.

First the elves keep feeding Santa, steak dinners to give him enough energy to handle the week before Christmas. Then He spends hours on the phone with customer service.
An elf goes missing and as it turns out he was under Santa's hat.
Before going out on the Eve of Chritmas, Santa delivers gifts to his animal friends.
Then the elves have a secret Santa gift exchange.

Give the Gift of Art part one...

It's that time of year again where I try to stir up interest in my art books. I've got 5 that are available on Amazon and through book stores. I hope next year I will have time to put together at least 3 new ones that will be available through the same places. Go to Amazon, type in my name and BAM, all my books pop up. Pick one, two, three or more. :D
