End Papers done!

I finally finished the end papers for the bear picture book that I illustrated and made some minor changes on the interior pages. That should be it. 

Looking forward to the date when it comes out. Should be in the fall. I'll keep you posted.

Bear Picture Book End Papers

The publisher came up with a highly detailed color layout for the end papers of the book... it's going to take me a while to finish this since I'm doing it in the evenings and a bit on the weekends. (I have an art day job.) This is the first stage. I have a lot to fill in here.

I've been doing new pages for my graphic novel lately. Trying to get closer to the final page and then start editing.

Here's a better scan of the cover art. It didn't really arrive at the bookstores till this last Tuesday. Some Barnes and Noble don't carry it, which is weird but mostly kid bookstores and some independent booksellers have it on stock. Also available on Amazon...

One of many spread for the bear book that I've been working on for the last 6 months. I'm almost done with it. I've got two more spreads to do and some end papers. I'll start posting more from the book after this.

I finished this the other day. I have to make one slight correction and then it's off to the  publisher.

I've got a few new characters that I've been creating over the last few weeks when I can fit them in between the massive chunk of work that I've got going right now... This little guy is always trying to get a new idea so he can get rich quick, but sometimes it all backfires.

Last of the Christmas drawings for this year...

Christmas was a week and a half ago, New Years is over, time to move forward. In that spirit I'm posting the last of the Christmas drawings for this year. More to come next year but for here on, I'll be posting more new drawings of whatever piques my interest. All the best for you in 2015!
