Ming the Merciless…. New painting!

This is the first of the three main characters in Flash Gordon. Ming the Merciless is a villain from the series that has minions. On one of the planets there are a lot of giant mushroom and so I made those his minions… even though they can't walk anywhere.

I just finish the second one and working on the third one and I'll post those soon.

I got this from the Tacoma History Museum today... notice my name in the corners of the frame...

"The Invasion!" It's part two of an earlier color painting.

I did the first one a few weeks ago and now I'm thinking of writing the story for these little space creatures.

This is about a female runner who feels consumed with quilt about not checking her media devices when she's out running. 

Couldn't decide which one made the point best but now I'm thinking that the one without the lower left cell phones works better.
