Poopy Do

This week's WRAP (Wednesday Random Art Post) is a blue polychromos #19 drawing from some years ago in one of my old sketchbooks.

When working for game companies one often has to bend one's style and ideas to the will of the project, which is totally fine and I love to do that.
But in my free time I needed to free my mind and that would take shape in some strange and fun concepts. The Id, such as it is helps artists to inform them from the unconscious and is reliant on the gratification of impulse and desire.
When I was looking through that sketchbook folder and found this drawing I thought it was a prime example of that process.

Drawing while flying

Love to draw on airplane rides and these are several I did on my trip to SoCal last weekend.

Saturday morning Doodle

Saturday Morning Doodle for this weekend.
Still some time to enjoy the best that summer has to offer and having a picnic with a friend in a park, is a delightful way to enjoy nature, the sun, some food, good conversation and laughs. So get out there and make the most of summer in these August days. (my birthday month)

This weeks WRAP

This week's WRAP (Wednesday Random Art Post)... Another dark red polychromos pencil drawing from one of my old sketchbooks.

A giant summer squash and it's side kick, asparagus. Perhaps they were sprayed with insecticide that transformed them. Maybe a new picture book story?

Either way, wash your summer veggies before consuming them. Hehe...

Olympics Saturday Morning Doodle for last weekend

Last weekend's Saturday morning Doodle... via Monday because I was too busy over the weekend to do this.

At the closing ceremonies of the Paris Olympics Tom Cruise descended from above, jumped on a motorcycle to bring the Olympics to L.A. in 2028. Hope it's not going to take him 4 years to ride his bike all the way there.

WRAP

This week's WRAP (Wednesday Random Art Post)... Another dark blue polychromos pencil drawing from one of my old sketchbooks.

Always loved this drawing and wanted to do a story/graphic novel/picture book, using it. But jobs and concepts kept rolling. I still remember what I wanted to do, story wise.
