My left hand gets better at doing this each time I try. And doing it is a difficult thing to do. The focus and doing my best to steady my hand while getting the feel of the subject matter onto the paper is not easy. Anyone who has tried doing this will attest.
Finding various subjects is also a consideration. I don’t want to mess up someone’s likeness and for the ones that aren’t portraits, I want to convey enough of the contours that make up the subject.
Hopefully, when my right arm is healed that I will still be working on left handed drawings. The difference then will be that I can rely on either hand to do artwork.
That’s the plan.
