You Pick!

I've got a problem from time to time because I make several versions of one Abstract because I like to see where I can take it. I had that problem with this Abstract. Some pages from my Graphic Novel

Early pages from my Graphic novel. I'm still working on the art for it. I'm up to 179 pages of art and have another 150 to go. I'll whittle it all down to about 200 pages by the time it's all done with all the cropping and reduction of panels. Most of the art will be in there from what I'm doing now. Yellow Robot head!

This image is part of a much larger painting that I did a year and a half ago. It's too big to scan on my little old scanner. The best part of the painting was this square in the lower left corner. I always thought it should be a painting just on it's own merit. So I put the scanner on the floor and scanned this into the computer in 6 parts and stitched it together in Photoshop. Showing it for the first time here and on Image Kind, where it is available as a print.

New Friday Abstract

This is one of three versions that I did. I like this one the best but the others are fun as well. I may post them soon. Casino Empire

Concept sketches I did for the game Casino Empire back in 2001 for Sierra Entertainment. I have a bunch more concept sketches for that product. I may show some more of them on another post. These are each about 14 x 17".

Bel Mar Abstract!

I started the idea for this at the restaurant Bel Mar in Ballard on Sunday during a lite dinner. Finished it off today! It seemed to look a bit like a bug to me so I named it the Bel Mar Bug. I'm sure they won't be happy about that but who knows if they will ever see it.
Saw "Public Enemy" last night with my friend Anne. Terrific flick although it could have been shorter and not so redundant. Usual Michael Mann type of story. The stylizing was awesome. A great looking piece of film!
Also woke up to January like weather here in the PNW!! Not good for July! Usually we have sun and warmth,... which I would like it to return to by the end of this week at the latest!
