New Doodles from the grind...

Yes sir eee, a new batch from some meetings I've attended. Each one has a title and a bit of a story but I'll let you figure that out. I haven't posted much in the last month or so but I hope to post more stuff in the coming months. Drop by often!

Graphic Novel sneak peek...

Here are 3 pages from my graphic novel that are between a quarter and a third of the way through the book. This sequence is part of nightmare that one of the main character has. Her dreams are horrific. I don't want to give away too much here. I put off posting any final pages with text until I have enough free time to work on that aspect of it. I will be back at doing that come summer, when I have more free time. Till then I'm continuing to reformulate the outline and drawing all the panels I need to tell the rest of the story. I hope you will stay tuned to see what will come of it all.
More doodles next posting...

DIA Diego Rivera Mural in Detroit!

0

This is my all time favorite thing to see when I visit my sibs in Detroit. It's inside the Detroit Institute of Art, down the street from Tiger stadium, Ford Field, Greek Town and Fox Theater. The first time I saw it was when I was on a field trip in grade school. Actually several field trips from grade school to Jr. High. I don't know why my sibs didn't ever get that trip when they were in school. Maybe they had a sick day. Anyway, here are some photos of it from my trip to Detroit this last week. Enjoy.

Back from Dee-troit!!

I was in Dee-troit for the last week to visit with sibs and attend a wedding. My nephew wedded his long time girlfriend Josie. It was a terrific wedding and we all had a great time that night. I also got to see the Norman Rockwell exhibit at the DIA and go to Ann Arbor's UMMA to see more great art. They had a terrific Architecture exhibit of recent famous buildings around the world. Really impressive! I also got to have some incredible food at some great Greek restaurants. Thanks to my brother Scotty for allowing me to stay his comfortable home for all those days and to Cookie for driving me all over the place. (LOL)
